LIBRARY OF THINGS

Borrowing items:

·        Items are available to any Milltown Public Library cardholder in good standing (no fines or overdue items).

·        A parent or guardian must sign for borrowers under the age of 18.

·        Items may be borrowed for 14 days. Items are not renewable.

·        Limit of one item per borrower at a time.

·        Replacement cost plus $15 processing fee will be charged for lost or damaged items. Borrowers won’t be liable for damage based on normal wear and tear.

·        This is a lending program only. Library staff are not available for instruction in the use of Library of Things materials. Detailed instructions are provided with each item.

Returning items:

·        Items must be returned in person to the library, they may NOT be placed in outside book return or left in front of library doors.

·        Items must be returned clean, complete, and packed as they were received. Please see content list in each item package.

·        Once an item is returned, please wait 24 hours before attempting to check out again to be courteous to other patrons who may want item.
